The Vice president of the Department of Theatre and performing arts ABU Zaria Helen James Gala on Friday February 22nd 2019 Left a message for the Youth of Nigeria and a Question Which the youths of the Nation should ask them self's before the General Election commences on the 23rd Of February #NigeriaDecides.

I am not a celebrity freak neither am I a political freak but I am a patroitic Nigerian with a great vision for my mother land.It is so sad to know that the beautiful land our forefathers worked so hard to build is gradually falling apart.Bloggers are everywhere getting fake informations and posting untrue stories, journalist are everywhere disseminating rumoured news they got from the blogs, politicians are everywhere forging lies(propaganda) against their opponents, youths are everywhere bowing down for the untrue leaders. We've obviously lost our heritage to greed, quest for power, pride and prejudice. It is so sad to know that so many people do not know the use of their smart phones and televisions. They tend to dwell on rumors instead of discovery. We youths especially are a total disappointment to our country,I just wish people will realize that politics is beyond selfishness and corruption,I wish we will have more youths who believe in the doing of a man(personality)and not partisans,I wish we will have youths who will build the nation and not bulldoze it with their poor sense of reasoning.Earthly desire has taken over our youths,Instead of electing selfless leaders,we rather elect selfish leaders who will kill us and bribe us with money. I read a documentary about our fallen heros few days ago and I was comforted and pained at the same time. The likes of sir Ahmadu Bello who died without a Kobo in his account bcoz he wanted the best for the country, the likes of K Nzeogwu who led a coup at 29,the likes of Akintola who was vibrant and fearless,he was just 36 ,Enahoro was 27 and many others...then I ask my self this unanswered questions:where are the so called vibrant youths in Nigeria? Are we just meant to be servants to the so called leaders? Are we only good at robbing innocent people and killing offenders (jungle justice)Are we just fearless and strong during war?Are we just good in bed and deceiving people (Yahoo)?Where is the sincerity and strength we inherited from our forefathers?Welcome to a country where almost all the leaders believe in medicine men for survival and not God.The few youths whome we trusted with our mandate has failed us.Late senator GNS pwajok was a very vibrant youth with so much to offer but he allowed the older politicians deceived him which led him to an early grave.yahaya Bello the present Governor of kogi state gave the youths his words and we inturn gave him our mandate but he is even worst than some older politicians.I am in a state of dilemma, I can't even trust our youths with my vote. Most of them are aiming to steal, revenge and frustrate people. Some of us that are sincere can't even find our way to the white House.Late president Umaru Yaradua said and I quote"tomorrow will be better than today" but does it seem like?
